FAQ

Do you use decals?

Absolutely not! My process is fairly straightforward. Each piece is first sanded, then primed with gesso, then sanded again. The base color is applied, and if necessary, sanded again. The design is painted and when dry, protected with 3 to 4 coats of a clear sealant. I use a matte finish so little feet and tushies don't go sliding about.

Only high quality artists paints and sealants are used to ensure years of enjoyment.

Do you customize?

Yes, I do. Because all pieces are painted order, I'm more than happy to make minor color adjustments at no charge. The addition of your child's name is $12.00. However, if your child's name has 87 characters, then we may need to talk. All custom orders require a 50% deposit.

Do you paint other stuff?

All the time. Just let me know what you want and I'll let you know if I can do it!

Needlepoint

Ah, the needlepoint...it holds a very special place in my heart.  The original designs are painted in oil on Zweigert mono canvas.

How long will it take to receive my order?

I usually ship the stools within 4 weeks of order date. If you're in a rush, let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate you.  Afghans take a bit longer.  If in stock, I'll pop them off right away; if not, then it's about 6 weeks.  Needlepoint designs are a different story.  I maintain a certain level of stock, so they're generally available immediately.

Why afghans?

Why not? They're soft, cuddly and add warmth to any decor.  Who doesn't love to snuggle up under an afghan with a cup of hot chocolate?
